An ongoing WCAG 2.2 AA goal
Accessibility Statement
PayClocked’s accessibility goal, the interaction patterns under review, known limits, and a practical route for reporting a barrier.
A practical accessibility goal
PayClocked aims to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. That is an ongoing design and testing goal—not a certification or a claim that every browser, assistive technology, page state, and exported format is fully conformant.
Interaction support
- Structure
Landmarks, headings, lists, labels, and grouped controls. - Keyboard
Logical order, visible focus, and native control behavior. - Feedback
Instructions and errors that do not depend on color alone. - Responsive use
Layouts designed to avoid page-level overflow. - Preferences
Theme and reduced-motion behavior respected. - Navigation
Skip navigation and a focus-safe return-to-top control.
Calculated results are presented in text, and meaningful visual elements receive an alternative or explanation. A placeholder is never intended to be the only accessible name for an input.
How the experience is checked
- Automated
- Semantic and accessibility scans across calculator and trust-page states.
- Interaction
- Keyboard navigation, focus movement, errors, dynamic rows, and result announcements.
- Display
- Narrow and wide layouts, zoom, text enlargement, contrast, and reduced motion.
- Assistive technology
- Manual checks are part of the review matrix, but coverage is not exhaustive.
Automated checks can find only part of the experience. Completing and understanding a financial workflow still requires human review.
Known limitations
Daily timesheets, dynamically added pay components, complex warnings, print layouts, and local exports can behave differently in older browser and assistive-technology combinations. Dense PDFs and agency pages opened through external links are controlled by their publishers and can have separate accessibility limitations.
Do not guess at an inaccessible financial field. Stop the estimate and use official agency material, payroll records, or a qualified professional when the task cannot be completed reliably.
Report a barrier
The feedback channel appears in Terms and Legal Notices. If comfortable, include the page, task, browser, assistive technology, and barrier. Do not include salary, hours, MAGI, filing status, tax forms, employer details, or other sensitive calculation data.
