PayClocked applies documented formulas to the data and rule choices entered. It does not provide legal, tax, payroll, accounting, or employment advice. A result does not establish wages owed, worker classification, deduction eligibility, taxable income, withholding, payroll tax, a refund, tax savings, or legal compliance.
Use the documented boundary. The automated paths cover the federal general rule and California general rule only. A special occupation, schedule, agreement, pay method, exemption, or another state can require a different calculation.
Verify before acting
Inputs can be incomplete or legally ambiguous, and official rules and forms can change. Compare an estimate with time records, pay stubs, employer reporting, the applicable W-2 or 1099 information, Schedule 1-A and its instructions, and the current official sources.
Current law, forms, instructions, and agency material prevail over this service. Ask an appropriate payroll specialist, wage-and-hour professional, attorney, enrolled agent, CPA, or other qualified professional about an individual decision. Use of PayClocked creates no attorney-client, tax-preparer-client, accountant-client, employer-employee, or fiduciary relationship.
Responsible service use
- Do not interfere with operation, bypass controls, or send malicious code.
- Do not scrape in a way that degrades access or misrepresent an estimate as an official record.
- Do not imply endorsement by the IRS, DOL, California agencies, or the operator.
- Do not enter another person’s financial or employment data without authority.
A rule, feature, or the service can be corrected, limited, suspended, or withdrawn when an official source changes, a material error is found, or safe operation cannot be maintained. The changelog records material calculation changes and whether an earlier estimate should be recalculated.
No guarantee
PayClocked does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy outside the documented scope, a payroll outcome, deduction, refund, saving, or acceptance by an authority. To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for decisions based on an estimate remains with the person making the decision. Nothing in these terms excludes a right, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
